Well Done

“well done is a much greater compliment than well said.”

think on that.

sit with that.

wrestle with that.

we live in a society dripping with keyboard warriors and loud opinions. we are home in a place overcome with sin and consumed in brokenness. we are hurting by the words on our screens and inaction of those able.

too many of us are too busy making sure we get our point across. making sure they hear us. making sure we explain ourselves. making sure we said it well.

but how can we be “well done” people? where in our lives do we need to implement action above words? where do we need to move head first into the hard, the mess, the uncomfortable and take it on and do it well?

you are capable of doing things well.

one day i will stand in from of my Heavenly Father, Jesus Christ - and I want him to look at me and say “well done, my good and faithful servant.”

well done creates change

well done fuels momentum

well done leaves a legacy

well done is what matters

so often, words are my battle cry and i do believe they have deep power - but more than that, i believe my action in the battle is what shifts things. my choice to do is what overcomes. my decision to move well is what creates a movement - in my life, in my little world.

the world is desperate for more people who want to be doers of good

so, stop trying to be the loudest

start trying to be the difference
